Clara Austin

Clara Virginia Austin "Sis", 83, of Boiling Springs, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 25, 2011, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born December 12, 1927, in Lynchburg, VA, she was the daughter of the late Henry Belk and Elsie Bazemore Austin. Clara was a member of Northbrook Baptist Church and a retired bookkeeper. Survivors include her brother, William Austin and wife Audrey of Weeki Wachee, FL; two sisters, June Lee Drew and husband Ronald of Lexington, SC, and Carolyn Gardner of Boiling Springs; a number of nieces and nephews; and her beloved fur-ball "Girl". She was predeceased by a sister, Anne Bennett; and a brother, Edward Austin. Visitation will be 7:00-9:00 PM Friday, May 27, 2011, at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 28, 2011 at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Adrian Allen. Burial will be in Boiling Springs Memorial Gardens.
