Claire "Lynn" Franklyn Lowery

Claire "Lynn" Franklyn Lowery, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 16, 2025. Born on April 29, 1958, in Spartanburg, South Carolina, she was the daughter of Norma Jean Lowery and Charles Wells Lowery, Sr.

Lynn was a free spirit, one who found peace in nature and through her strong faith in God. She enjoyed trips to the beach and weekends in the mountains. Her affinity for the outdoors was matched only by her love for literature; she was an avid reader, blessed with a brilliant mind that wandered through pages and ideas, seeking wisdom, and understanding.

She is preceded in death by her loving father, Charles Wells Lowery, Sr. She is survived by her mother, Norma Jean Lowery, and her siblings, Charles Wells Lowery, Jr. (Clare) and Mary Burrell (Gary), who will carry forward her giving spirit and love. Lynn loved her family, and she took time to be a fun, loving aunt. Her love for her nieces -Ashley Burrell, Heidi Isaacs, Charlotte Wells Burrell, Kara Lowery, and Shaye Lowery—was deep. Lynn also leaves behind numerous great nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be held to honor the life of Claire "Lynn" Franklyn Lowery.
