Chucky Spurlin

Chucky Dean Spurlin, 48, of Inman, SC died Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at his home. Born in Gaffney, SC on October 2, 1972, he was the son of Roger and Linda Spurlin.

Mr. Spurlin was a graduate of Boiling Springs High School and was a machine operator for over 20 years with Michelin. He attended New Life Baptist Fellowship. Chuck was an ultramarathon runner and avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Peggy Spurlin; son, Zach Spurlin; step-daughter, Amberly Bryant; step-son, Hunter Loftis; sister, Candace Barnette; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, uncles and aunts; and Rascal, his Boston Terrier.

Visitation will be held 11:00 AM-12:00 noon Monday, May 10, 2021 at Floyd’s Boiling Springs Chapel, 4161 Hwy 9 North, Boiling Springs, SC 29316, with services following at 12:00 noon in the Chapel, conducted by Pastor Scott Miller. Burial will be in Good Shepherd Memorial Park.
