Christine Meadows

Christine Meadows, 92, of Spartanburg, SC, died Wednesday, February 12, 2014, at Valley Falls Terrace. Born January 19, 1922, in Madison County, NC, she was the daughter of the late William Custard and Sallie Kate Waldrop and wife of the late Eugene Lowell Meadows. She was retired from Arkwright Mills and was of the Presbyterian faith. Surviving is a daughter, Sallie Fowler Wyatt of Wellford, SC; son, Randall Reid Meadows of Boiling Springs, SC; three granddaughters, Tonya Fowler Pender, Susan Godbold Stuppnig, and Meg Drum Godbold; and grandson, Clay Drum. She was predeceased by daughter, Donna Meadows Godbold; granddaughter, Crystal Lynn Fowler; and two great-grandsons, Brown Laven and Christopher Noel. Graveside services will be at 3:00 PM Monday, February 17, 2014 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by the Rev. Joe White. Visitation will follow at the graveside. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hope Center for Children, P.O. Box 1731, Spartanburg, SC 29306. The family is at their respective.
