Christine Lewis

Christine M. Lewis, 84, of Spartanburg, SC, died Saturday, March 6, 2021 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born September 8, 1936 in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late James Leland and Beulah Fowler Morrison and the widow of James Wyatt "Bud" Lewis III. Mrs. Lewis loved playing bridge, watching and feeding the birds, and loved animals, especially her cat, Spooky, and her dog, Sweet Pea. Survivors include her son, James Wyatt Lewis IV (Philip Malouf) of Franklin, NC, her daughter, Christine Lewis Sewell (Billy J.) of Spartanburg, SC, grandchildren, Dakota James Sewell and Sommerset Sadie Sewell, both of Spartanburg, SC, her brother, Robert Leland Morrison (Susan) of Hickory, NC and her sister, Elaine Morrison Edge of Spartanburg, SC. She was predeceased by a son, Robert Clay Lewis. A funeral service will be 11:00 AM Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by The Rev. Mitch Edge. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
