Cheryl Owens

Cheryl Gregory Owens, 57, of 1080 Beacon Light Road, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at Mary Black Memorial Hospital. Born August 31, 1952 in Cleveland, GA, she is the daughter of the late Paul James and Annie Irene Allison Gregory. She was employed with BMG Music. Survivors include her husband Jerry Wayne Owens; five daughters, Karen Sturgill, Tracy Hamilton, Billie Gault, Cristy Swofford, and Tiffany Smith; three sons, Brent, Freddie, and Chris Premo; brothers, Donnie Gregory, Paul "Ross" Gregory, Jackie Gregory, "Spike" Gregory, Michael Gregory, and Art Solesbee; and fifteen grandchildren. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Friday, August 27, 2010 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 28, 2010 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Roger D. Blankenship. Entombment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Heritage Chapel Mausoleum. The family is at the home of her daughter, Tracy Hamilton, 129 Idlewood Circle, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
