Cheryl Ann Gee

Cheryl Ann Gee, 76, of Inman, SC, died Monday, May 15, 2023 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born March 8, 1947 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Silas W. and Ossie Pauline Hamrick Pope, and the wife of the late Byard Carlisle Chauncey Gee.

Cheryl was a loving mother and grandmother. She had a great sense of humor and a vivid imagination.

A born lover of animals, Cheryl’s favorite domestic ones were horses and cats. She was so inspired by her passion of wildlife and the outdoors; she rehabbed many different wild animals… her two favorites were the Timberwolves and owls. She was an avid Dallas Cowboy football fan. Her favorite pastime was to fish.

Survivors include her son, Phillip Gee (Alicia) of Maud, OK and their family: Brittany Gee of Maud, OK, Megan Gee of Norman, OK, Corey Cavin (Stormi), Isaac Cavin and Jude Cavin, all of Tecumseh, OK; her daughter, Jennifer Snyder (Bill) of Inman, SC and their family: Morgan Snyder of Central, SC and Mason Snyder of Inman, SC; and her daughter, Crissy Taylor (Jeremy) and Briggs Taylor, all of Laurens, SC; Brandon Gilbert (Alexis), Zander Gilbert, all of Laurens, SC; her brother-in-law, Joseph Gee (Diane) of Southport, NC; nephew, Joey Gee of Tujunga, CA; and her niece, Kirsten Gee of Medford, OR.

A Memorial service will be at 3:00 PM Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at Floyd’s Boiling Springs Chapel, 4161 Highway 9 North, Boiling Springs, SC 29316.
