Cheremy Leigh Harris, 47, of Roebuck, SC, died Sunday, August 2, 2015, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born May 6, 1968, in Spartanburg, SC she was the daughter of Maxine Brannon Gordon of Inman, SC and her "loving father-figure", Bill Gordon of Spartanburg, SC. Cheremy "never met a stranger", enjoyed life, loved Elton John music, fishing, and helping people. She was a member of Unity Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her loving husband of 21 years, Michael Earl Harris; sons, Jerry Harris of Boiling Springs, SC and Brad Harris of Lake City, SC; sisters, Sonya Posey (Will) of Boiling Springs, SC and Dena Valdes (John) of Lexington, SC; brother, Shawn Keller (Lori) of Olympia, Washington; mother-in-law, Barbara Harris Bishop (Bruce) of Pauline, SC; and many beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, August 5, 2015, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice. The family is at their respective homes.
