Cheney Burton

Cheney Elizabeth Burton, age 28, left this world far too soon on December 26, 2015 in Greenville, SC. Cheney, the daughter of Bill and Catherine Burton, was born in Greenville on March 30, 1987. Her family moved to Macon, GA, where Cheney graduated from Stratford Academy in 2005. She attended Valdosta State College and Greenville Technical College. Cheney's beautiful smile brightened the lives of everyone who knew her. She had a special love for children, animals and most of all, her family. She was loved by so many people who will miss her forever. Cheney is survived by her parents, Bill and Catherine Burton, her beloved son, Joseph, and her brother, Will and wife Katy, all of Macon, GA. Other survivors include her grandparents, Don and Pat Burton, and her grandmother, Anne Cheney, of Spartanburg, SC, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. A private graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 31, 2015, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Spartanburg, SC. "Heaven will be a brighter place because of the smile of its newest angel."
