Charlotte Moore

Charlotte Denise Moore, 52, of Spartanburg, SC died Friday, October 28, 2022 at her home. Born in Port Lavaca, TX, she was the daughter of James David Moore and the late Florence A. Mitchell Moore.

Charlotte was a graduate of Broome High School, then a graduate of Criminal Justice from Spartanburg Methodist College. She attended University of South Carolina and earned her bachelor degree from Limestone College and her masters degree from Converse College. She was retired from SC Department of Mental Health.

She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church.

Survivors include her father, The Rev. David Moore; sister, Libby Hipps (Billy) of Spartanburg, SC; niece, Shelby Hipps of Spartanburg, SC; great nephew, Jax Hipps of Spartanburg, SC; her aunt Carolyn; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Along with her mother, she was predeceased by a nephew, Kyle Hipps.

The family respectfully request that memorials may be made to Florence Moore Scholarship Fund, in care of Spartanburg County Foundation, 424 E. Kennedy Street, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
