Charlotte Jones

Charlotte Ann Corn Jones, 72, of Pacolet, SC, died Monday, June 6, 2016, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born July 27, 1943, in Spartanburg County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Charles William and Helen Belle Cudd Corn. Mrs. Jones retired as a medical administrator in Alabama and became an administrator in the Planning and Development Office at Wofford College. She was a member of Pacolet Mills Baptist Church where she was the former Minister of Music, organist, and pianist. She attended Clemson University and also taught piano. Survivors include her husband, Nicky Joe Jones of the home; son, David Jones of Pacolet, SC; granddaughter, Olivia Jones of Landrum, SC; sisters, Frankie Hammett and Debbie Bowser, both of Spartanburg, SC, and Denise Figueroa of Jacksonville, FL; and brother, Johnny B. Corn of Woodruff, SC. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Judy Bible. Visitation will be 3:00-3:45 PM Thursday, June 9, 2016, at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel, 141 Memorial Dr., Pacolet, SC 29372. Funeral services will follow at 4:00 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev.
