Charles Wood

Charles William Wood "Chuck", of Massena, NY and N. Myrtle Beach, SC passed away peacefully in Spartanburg, SC on Thursday, November 29, 2015 at the age of 88. Born in Syracuse, NY in 1927, Charles was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many. A veteran of the US Army and an avid golfer, "Chuck" was the warm-hearted husband of the late Lois "Janie" Wood who recently passed in October. Charles W. Wood is survived by a sister, Laura W. Moore of North Myrtle Beach, SC; a daughter, Leslie Donnelly-Griffin of Spartanburg SC; son and daughter-in-law, John & Ann Wood of Kingsville ONT, son and daughter-in-law, Bill & Eileen Wood of Lexington MA; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren all of whom adored, loved him, and will miss him very much. A service will be held in the spring of '16 in Massena, NY to celebrate both Charles's and Janie's lives.
