Charles White

Charles Wayne White, 64, of Spartanburg, SC, passed away Monday, August 12, 2013, at Mountainview Nursing Home. Wayne was born in Jonesville, SC, July 5, 1949 to parents Thomas C. and Leoma B. White of Spartanburg, SC. He was a member of Gravely Memorial United Methodist Church and a 1968 graduate of Dorman High School. Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his brother, Mickey White and his wife, Sharon; nephews, Todd White, and Kevin White and his wife, Brandi; great nephew, Hunter White; and great nieces, Dusti, Addison and Rhyan Osteen. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, August 15, 2013, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by the Rev. Scott Gilmer. Visitation will follow at the graveside. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gravely Memorial United Methodist Church, 7400 Lone Oak Blvd., Spartanburg, SC 29302; or The Garden of Eden at Mountainview Nursing Home, 340 Cedar Springs Road, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
