Charles Warren

Charles "Chink" Henry Warren, 85, of Boiling Springs, SC, died Tuesday, July 1, 2014, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born December 30, 1928, in Glendale, SC, he was the son of the late Victor Eugene and Myrtle Burgess Warren. A U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War, Mr. Warren was a member of Glendale Baptist Church and Glendale Masonic Lodge. He was retired from Arkwright Mills. Surviving are his beloved wife of 63 years, Evelyn Melton Warren; sons, Randy Warren (Kathy) of Spartanburg, SC and David Warren of Inman, SC; grandson, Chris Warren (Shannon) and their son, Conor Warren, of Boiling Springs, SC; granddaughter, Randi Marie Thomas (Cam) and their daughter, Audrey Thomas, of Greenville, SC; and sister, Audrey Mahaffey Frady of Spartanburg, SC. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by an infant son, Victor James Warren. Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 PM Saturday, July 5, 2014, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will follow at 2:30 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. David Moore and Mr. Harold Brown. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Memorials may be made to Glendale Baptist Church, PO Box 268, Glendale, SC 29346.
