Charles Stanley "Stan" Watson, 72, of Cowpens, SC, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 21, 2014, at Mary Black Memorial Hospital. Born March 13, 1942, in Rutherfordton, NC, he was the son of the late John and Aileen Copeland Watson. A U. S. Army veteran, Mr. Watson was an automotive technician with Watson Service Center. He was of the Baptist faith. Surviving is his beloved wife of 38 years, Wanda Louise Watson; daughters, Trina Waters (Robert) of Boiling Springs, SC, and Jennifer Watson of Clifton, SC; step-daughter, Cheryl Stout (Randy) of Boiling Springs, SC; grandchildren, Benjamin Reyes of Georgia, Holly Evans, Justin Stout, and Taylor Stout, all of Boiling Springs, SC; brothers, George Watson, Frank Watson, and Bill Watson, all of North Carolina; and his first wife, Janice A. Hill Skrinis of Chesnee, SC. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a grandson, Travis Watson; and brother, Howard Watson. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, October 23, 2014, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday, October 24, 2014, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
