On February 16, 2022 Charles Edwin Siegmann, 83, suddenly passed away. Charles was born in Baltimore, Maryland and lived in South Carolina since 2014. He was a graduate of University of Baltimore and had a long successful career. He retired from Mercantile Bank as its Chief Information Officer.
He was a photography enthusiast and gifted many people with his famous homemade greeting cards. He was known to all as a generous, kind and giving man. He will be missed terribly by many.
“Charlie” to his friends and “Ed” to his family, he left behind his loving wife, Delores (nee Colson), his daughter, Charlene Hiester (Paul), his nephew, Mike Singer (Wendy); grandchildren, Braden Hiester, Krista Mascia, Andrew Mascia (Rebecca), and Rachel Myers (Wesley); great grandchildren, Ro Hiester, Grayson Hiester, Lyra Hiester and Cason Salinas. He was predeceased by his loving parents, Edwin & Eleanor (nee Albiker) Siegmann, sisters, Trish Gurbelski and Shirley Siegmann, and loving son, Steven Siegmann.
A Memorial service will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Floyd’s Boiling Springs Chapel, 4161 Highway 9 North, Boiling Springs, SC 29316. After the service, all are invited to a gathering at the Lakewood Senior Living, 3711 Clark Road, Boiling Springs SC 29316.
