Charles Bishop

Charles Jeffrey "Jeff" Bishop, 46, of 113 Morgan Street, Cowpens, died Saturday, March 30, 2013, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born February 2, 1967, in Spartanburg, he was the son of Charles Berlin and Mary Lou Threadgill Bishop. Jeff was a graduate of Broome High School and attended Clemson University. He loved communicating with his Facebook friends and was a member of First Baptist Church of Cowpens. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Tena Scales; niece, Kirsten Doggett (Chris); great-nieces, Madison and Natalie Doggett, all of Spartanburg; and his dog, "Roscoe." Graveside services will be held at 1:30 PM on Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at Daniel Morgan Cemetery, conducted by the Rev. Randy Bishop. Visitation will follow the service at the graveside. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mobile Meals, P.O. Box 461, Spartanburg, SC 29304. The family is at their respective homes.
