Charles Gordon

Charles "Chuck" Gordon, 52, of Spartanburg, SC, died Thursday, January 7, 2016 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born February 22, 1963, in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late Oscar and Doris Sparks Gordon. Chuck was a member of Green Street Baptist Church. He was the general manager of Vickers Auto Salvage, an automotive enthusiast, expert slot car driver, and former owner-operator of the Rollerland Skating Rink. Survivors include his wife, Susan Knox Gordon; daughters, Samantha Kirsop of the home and Tiffany Tracy (Phillip) of Gastonia, NC; grandchildren, Dakota Tracy and Astrid Tracy; cousin, Dennis Gordon (Ellen) of Horseshoe, NC; canine daughter, Caroline and canine granddaughter, Minnie. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Saturday, January 9, 2016, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, January 10, 2016, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, by the Rev. David Conner. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
