Charles Chandler Sr.

Charles Bruce Chandler Sr., 69, of Pauline, SC, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, May 06, 2015, in the comfort of his home surrounded by his family. Born August 16, 1945, in Madison County, NC, he was the son of the late Kermit Chandler and Carol Eastwood. Mr. Chandler worked in construction for fifty years and was retired from Crowder Construction. Survivors include his beloved wife of 52 years, Betty Cox Chandler; sons, Chuck (Wendy), Jeff (Cynthia), and Carl Chandler all of Pauline, SC; daughter, Dana Chandler of Boiling Springs, SC; grandchildren, Chris and Landon Chandler, Summer Felts (Kevin), Corey Chandler (Zoie), Austin Chandler, Toryia, Aisha, and Trenton Dawkins; great-grandchildren, Zachary and Journey Felts, and Lucas Chandler; sisters, Merle Martin of Boiling Springs, SC and Jenny Morrow of Spartanburg, SC. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Nodine; brother, Maurice Chandler and granddaughter, Logan Chandler. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM on Thursday, May 7, 2015, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Friday, May 8, 2015, in the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Heritage Chapel Mausoleum, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Compassus, 1923 E. Main St., Duncan, SC 29334. The family will be at the home of Chuck Chandler.
