Charles Buice

William Charles Buice, 73, formerly of 480 Spring Street, Pacolet, died Wednesday, April 7, 2010, at Brian Center Nursing Home in Hendersonville, NC. Born November 30, 1936, in Jonesville, SC, he was the son of the late William Albert and Daisy Belle Fowler Buice. He was a former employee of Georgia-Pacific and Hoechst Fibers, a member of Brown's Chapel Baptist Church of Pacolet Mills, and a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. Survivors include his wife, Patsy Motts Gibson Buice; three daughters, Donna Steadman and husband Randy of Boiling Springs, Rhonda Jones and husband Ralph of Simpsonville, and Gina Morgan and husband Michael of Gaffney; a son, Robin Buice of Cowpens; two step-daughters, Patty Fernandez and husband Miguel of Spartanburg, and Lisa Gibson of Jacksonville, FL; a step-son, Jeff Gibson and wife Jennifer of Pacolet; two sisters, Leitha Martinez and husband Dan of Colorado, and Emily Peeler and husband Earl of Pacolet Mills; a brother, Tony Buice and wife Kim of Gaffney; fourteen grandchildren, including a special loving granddaughter, Maci Gibson; and seven great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Billy Ray Buice. Visitation will be 7:00-9:00 p.m. Friday, April 9, 2010, at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 10, 2010, at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel conducted by the Rev. Paul Manis. Burial will be in the First Baptist Church of Pacolet Cemetery.
