Celia Cantrell

Celia Hembree Cantrell, 89, formerly of Spartanburg and Fountain Inn, SC, died Wednesday, July 27, 2011, in At Home Health Care & Hospice, Conyers, GA. Born March 4, 1922, in Clifton, SC, she was the daughter of the late Jim and Laura Linder Hembree, and wife of the late Sidney Connor Cantrell. Mrs. Cantrell was a former member of Fairview Street Baptist Church, Fountain Inn, and retired from J.B. White, Greenville, SC. Survivors include her daughters, Karen Davis of Conyers, GA, and Rita Isom and husband Jim of Simpsonville, SC; six grandsons, Robbie Davis, Chip Davis, Brian Davis, Matt Davis all of Conyers, GA, Joel Holmes of Simpsonville, SC, and Jeff Holmes of Ridgeland, SC; and nine great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son-in-law, Robert W. Davis, five brothers, and four sisters. Visitation will be 12:30-1:45 Saturday, July 30, 2011 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 in the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Keith Taylor. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
