Celia W. Anderson

Celia W. Anderson, age 72 of Moore, SC, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2024. She was born on April 10, 1952, to the late Walter C. Anderson, Jr. and Lucille B. Anderson of Reidville, SC. 

Celia studied journalism and archeology in college before a lengthy career in retail sales. She was a lover of animals, music, antiques, politics, and sports-especially her Clemson Tigers. 

Celia was a beloved mother to her two daughters, Hillary P. Brock and, son-in-law, Tim Brock of Spartanburg, and Meredith Potter, and son-in-law, Joshua Propst of Morganton, NC. In addition to her two children, she is survived by her six grandchildren, Sadie, Bennett, Cooper Brock, Ezra, Oakley, and Juniper Propst; her sister, Sara A. Levine of New Jersey and several nieces and nephews. 

Celia is predeceased by her parents, and brother, Walter “Cary” Anderson, III.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 24, 2024, beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Nazareth Presbyterian Church, 680 Nazareth Church Rd, Moore, SC 29369, followed by graveside service in church cemetery.
