Cecil Greene Moore, 81, of 121 Old Canaan Road, died Tuesday, December 1, 2009, at his home. Born July 16, 1928, in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late Walter and Myrtle Mooneyham Moore and the husband of the late Mary Harmon Moore. He was the former owner of Cecil Moore Repair Service on Southport Road and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. He loved race cars and NASCAR. Survivors include a son, Cecil Glenn Moore of Spartanburg; four brothers, Walter "Bud" Moore, Jr., Ralph D. Moore and wife Patricia, Bill Moore and wife Brenda, all of Spartanburg, and Richard Moore and wife Jewel of Pauline; a sister, Ann M. Elder and husband Charles of Spartanburg; sisters-in-law, Joyce J. Moore and Betty J. Moore, both of Moore; a brother-in-law, Lester Gregory of Spartanburg; and a large number of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Joyce Ann Moore; brothers, Charles E. Moore and Donald B. Moore; sisters, Edith Gregory and Helen McKinney; a brother-in-law, Max McKinney; and a sister-in-law, Betty C. Moore. Visitation will be 11:00-12:00 noon Thursday, December 3, 2009, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Graveside services will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens conducted by the Rev.
