Cecil T. Babb, 84, a resident of Chicago, IL for 56 years, died Saturday, November 26, 2011, in Christ Hospital, Oak Lawn, IL. Born April 17, 1927, in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late Clyde and Roxie Beheler Babb and husband of the late Elizabeth "Betty" Pellegrini Babb. Mr. Babb was a veteran of the U. S. Navy, a Mason for over 50 years, and attended Turning Point Free Will Baptist Church. Survivors include his daughter, Judith Campbell and husband Glen of Spartanburg; son, Robert Babb of Philadelphia, PA; 7 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins. He was predeceased by his daughter, Patricia Babb Bullington; and brothers, Claude and Buster Babb. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, December 1, 2011, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday, December 2, 2011, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel, by Pastor Todd Black. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
