Cathy Jean Wilson Dukes

Cathy Jean Wilson Dukes, 62, of Spartanburg passed away September 24, 2022, at home. She was born February 3, 1960, to the late Leonard Peru Wilson and Joyce Ann Pittman Walker and was the wife of the late John Michael Dukes.

A member of the Freewill Baptist faith, Cathy was a diligent machine operator with Spartanburg Steel Products for many years. She was a loving and caring person, and a doting mother, aunt, and friend.

Survivors include her son, Shannon Dukes (Tanya) of Campobello; grandsons, Tyler Dukes and Chandler Dukes of Campobello; siblings, Larry Wilson (Anne) of Spartanburg, Barbara Smith (Charles) of Spartanburg, Brenda Scruggs (Samuel) of Drayton, and Leonard Wilson, Jr. (Lisa) of Johnsboro, GA; nephews, Ronnie Wilson, Jimmy Wilson, and Aaron Wilson; and nieces, Kisa Wilson, Tiffany Scruggs, Ashley Wilson, and Heather Wilson. Along with her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her children, April Greene and Ashley Dukes, and an aunt, Doris Wilson.

Visitation will be 1:00 PM on Friday, October 7, 2022, at Floyd’s Boiling Springs Chapel, 4161 Highway 9 North, Boiling Springs, SC 29316. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM in the chapel, conducted by The Rev. Dr. Paul Moore. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, 1955 Cannons Campground Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
