Cathy Thompson

Cathy Sue Thompson, 53, of Chesnee, died Saturday, July 4, 2009, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born June 21, 1956, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of Edwin and Amy Tompkins of Cross Hill, SC. She was employed at Dillard's. Surviving in addition to her parents are two daughters, Tara Wofford of Chesnee, and Kristie Felton of Myrtle Beach; two sons, ChiCody Willis of Chesnee, and Jeremy Willis of Boiling Springs; two sisters, Diane Lipton of Roselyn, PA, and Rebecca Lang of Paris, France; her fianc, Kenneth Cannon of Wellford; eighteen grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 8, 2009, at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel. The family is at the home.
