Catherine Howard

Catherine Greene Howard, 93, died Saturday, June 20, 2015, at Heartland Health Care. Born December 27, 1921, in Cherokee County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Murph and Laura Brown Griffin. She was also predeceased by her husbands, Fred William Greene and James Howard. Mrs. Howard was retired from Pacolet Manufacturing Co., and a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn G. Weathers of Pacolet, SC and Lora G. Howell of Winterhaven, FL; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a sister, Eleanor McMillan of Startex, SC. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel, 141 Memorial Drive, Pacolet, SC 29372, conducted by the Rev. David Irvine. Burial will follow at Pacolet Memorial Gardens, 141 Memorial Drive, Pacolet, SC 29372. Memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice, 421 S.E. Main Street, Ste. 100, Simpsonville, SC 29681.
