Catherine Reid Collings Blevins, passed Friday, December 24, 2021, in Anderson, SC. Born November 13, 1985, in Dallas Texas, she was the daughter of Dr. Thomas and Delanie Collings, Jr.
Beloved mother, sister, and daughter, Catherine was full in energy and love and carried deep love for her children and her family. She cared deeply for her patients and those around her she found in need as she ministered to them. Everywhere Catherine went she reached out to those who were in trouble, and gave, not only what she had, but of herself, sometimes to her own detriment
Cassie had eclectic tastes in almost everything, which made her fun and unique. She had a thirst for knowledge, immersing herself in learning a variety of subjects including technology, cooking, and nursing. Cassie was also known for her love of music, also eclectic, including 90’s alternative, classical, and country. She loved being on the go and found peace driving and listening to music. Cassie found serenity fishing, which was passed down to her by her grandfather. She shared this love with both her children. She will be dearly missed by her family and those who knew her. More than anything she adored her children and her parents and loved spending time with them.
Survivors include her children: Delanie Taylor and Miles Blevins; her siblings: Jennifer Kees (John Kees), Holly Coesens (Brian Coesens) and Thomas Collings, III (Jessica Collings); 3 nieces, 4 nephews and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
