Catherine Bailey

Catherine "Cat" Bailey, 76, of 4713 Worden Drive, Spartanburg, died Friday, December 25, 2009, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born December 10, 1933, in Spartanburg County, SC, she was the daughter of the late David and Lillie Lawson Hayes and wife of the late Harold Vernon Bailey. She was a former supervisor at Butte Knit and a member of Fairforest Church of God. Survivors include a son, Russell "Rusty" Davis and wife Cindy of Villa Rica, GA; a sister, Margaret Bagwell of Pensacola, FL; three grandchildren, Todd Davis and wife Amy of Lyman, Heather Davis Jenkins and husband Jamie of Inman, and Brad Towery of Moore; and five great-grandchildren, Hunter Davis, Connor Davis, Zach Coggins, Georgia Jenkins, and Kaden Jenkins. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday, December 27, 2009, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 28, 2009, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, conducted by the Rev. John H. Pettit, III. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
