Carroll Dean Blanchard

Carroll Dean Blanchard, 91, of Roebuck, died Wednesday, January 10,2024, at his home. A native of Spartanburg, he was born on March 31, 1932, a son of the late James and Alice Abernathy Blanchard and the husband of the late Isabell Pruitt Blanchard.

He was a retired landscaper and a member of Westend Baptist Church in Woodruff.

Surviving is his son, Mark Blanchard (Diane) of Roebuck; daughter, Tammy Kay Skeen (John) of Columbia; brother, Tom Blanchard of Spartanburg; eleven grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by his son, Timothy Blanchard; daughters, Donna Jean Bryant and Crystal Austin; sisters, Beatrice Scruggs and Shirley Baronge; brothers, Oscar Blanchard and Calvin Blanchard.

Visitation will be from 11:30 to 12:30 pm Monday, January 15, 2024, at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm in the chapel conducted by the Rev. Rex Keating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
