Carolyn Shockley

Carolyn Elaine Thompson Shockley, 69, of Pacolet, SC, died Saturday, December 24, 2016, at her home. Born February 5, 1947, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Dever and Mary Solomon Thompson. Carolyn was a member of Friends of Faith Church and a weaver for various Milliken plants. Survivors include her son, Johnny W. Motts; granddaughter, Courtney S. Motts; sister, Geneva O'dell; brothers, Richard Thompson and Wayne Thompson; and special friend, Anna Waddle-Barfield. Visitation will be 12:30-1:15 PM Wednesday, December 28, 2016, at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel, 141 Memorial Drive, Pacolet, SC 29372. Funeral services will follow at 1:30 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Paul Manis. Burial will be in Pacolet Memorial Gardens.
