Carolyn Johnson Moesley, 75, of Cross Hill, died Sunday, May 30, 2010 at Smith-Phayer Hospice Home. Born August 4, 1934 in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Harold Elmer and Evelyn Hazelett Johnson. She was an executive secretary for Hoechst Celanese and Beverage Air, and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Survivors include two sons, Joseph C. Brown of Cookeville, TN and Mark J. Brown of Columbia, SC; a daughter, Carol B. Leisure of Spartanburg; six grandchildren, Charity, Caleb, Lydia, Claire, and Marissa Brown and Andrew Kyle Edwards (PFC); a sister, Sarah Miller and husband Clint and their son, Clint Miller, Jr., all of Lyman. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, conducted by Dr. Steve Holler. Memorials may be made to the Smith Phayer Hospice House, 206 Fairwinds Road, Landrum, SC 29356.
