Carolyn Bradley Medlock, 77, of Landrum, SC, died Saturday, November 12, 2016, at her home. Born November 11, 1939, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Columbus David Bradley and Annie Ruth Fowler Cannon and widow of Thomas Junior Medlock. A 1958 graduate of Fairforest High School, Mrs. Medlock enjoyed square dancing and was retired from Mary Black Memorial Hospital. She attended Holsten Creek Baptist Church where she was a member of the Keen Club. She was also a former member of Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church. Survivors include her children, Emily Hawkins (Eddie) of Spartanburg, SC, Teresa Yarbrough (Frankie) and Ricky Edge (Debra) of Boiling Springs, SC; grandchildren, Erik Hawkins (Audrey), Tamara Yarbrough, Cory Edge, and Jesse Yarbrough; great-grandsons, Andrew Hawkins, Tanner Hawkins, Jace Hawkins, and James Edge; sisters and brother, Shirley Bradley Strange of Campobello, SC, Linda Bradley Greene and Gary Bradley of Georgia. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by the father of her children, James Alvin Edge. Visitation will be 7:00-9:00 PM Thursday, November 17, 2016, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday, November 18, 2016, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, by the Rev. John Cox. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307. The family is at their respective homes.
