Carolyn Turner Hill

Carolyn Turner Hill, 84, passed away Monday, May 22, 2023, at Pacifica Senior Living-Skylyn.  Born December 23, 1938, in Spartanburg, she was a daughter of the late Boyd Lee and Mamie Flynn Tate and wife of the late Roger Louis Hill.

 

 

Mrs. Hill retired from Spartanburg Regional Medical Center as an EKG Coordinator after 30 years   of service.  She was a member of the Southside Baptist Church for over 40 years where she was a former choir member.  She served as a former President of the South Carolina chapter of American Cardiology Technologists Association.  She loved and was proud of her Lord and family.  A lover of gospel music, she sang in the family quartet in her younger days.

 

Survivors are sons, Ronnie Turner (Angie), Gary Turner (Tracy) of Cowpens; daughter, Cynthis Turner, of Cowpens; step-son, Michael Hill (Paige) of California; Grandsons, Ryan Turner (Janice) of Texas, Joshua Turner (Christina) of Boiling Springs; Granddaughters, Kyndal Patat (Ben) of Travelers Rest, Mary Turner, Sarah Turner, Laylah Turner, all of Cowpens; step-grandchildren, Trevor, Tanner and Travis Hill of California;  eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Wayne Tate of Boiling Springs.  Mrs. Hill was predeceased by a brother, Jesse Tate and a sister, Mollie Jean Lewis.

 

Memorial Service will be Friday, May 26, 2023, at 4:00 PM at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC, 29307, conducted by the Rev. David Tate.
