Carolyn Fowler

Carolyn Holland Fowler, 86, of Spartanburg, died Thursday, November 5, 2009, at Spartanburg Hospital for Restorative Care. Born July 8, 1923, in Arcadia, SC, she was the daughter of the late Boyce E. and Inez Floyd Holland and the wife of the late Alfred A. Fowler. Survivors include two sons, Jerry E. Fowler and Ronnie K. Fowler, both of Spartanburg; three sisters, Lena Caldwell, Amelia (Amy) Ross, and Sandra Humphries, all of Spartanburg; two brothers, J. C. Holland of Spartanburg, and Louie Holland of Gaffney; six grandchildren, Aaron, Jeffrey, Zachary, Dylan, Mariah, and Sarah Fowler; and two great-grandchildren, Justin and Chelsea Fowler. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Gaylyn Fowler; two sisters, Frances H. Watson and Lois Eller; and two brothers, Roy and Wayne Holland.
