Caroline Stewart

Caroline Vaughn Bruce Stewart, 70, of Glendale, died Wednesday, August 19, 2009, at her home. Born February 21, 1939, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Cole Livingston and Virginia Carolina Vaughn Bruce. She was a retired cosmetologist and a member of Clifton Second Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, John Harrison Stewart; a daughter, Valentina Lynn Clark; two sons, Curtis Glenn Sewell and Brian Kem Bruce; a sister, Colette Bruce; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 24, 2009, at Sunset Memorial Park conducted by the Rev. Adam Street.
