Caroline Lee Quinn

Caroline Lee Slaten Quinn, 88, passed away Thursday, May 25, 2023, at White Oak Estates.  Born March 23, 1935, in San Diego, California, she was a daughter of the late Virgil Emmanuel and Ruby Williams Slaten and wife of the late Broadus Ervin (Billy) Quinn Jr.

Mrs. Quinn was a member of Park Hills Baptist Church.  She loved her family, writing songs, tending to her yard and feeding the birds and other wildlife.

Survivors are daughters, Beth Stepp (Donnie), Brenda Rogers (Lonnie), and Julie Roland; son, Billy J. Quinn (Angie); grandchildren, Shannon Quinn Harper, Taylor Quinn, Holly Nash Glover, Lee Rogers, Jay Wooten and Coral Roland; great grandchildren, William Glover, Alli Glover, Elijah Wooten, Karabella Wooten, Blakley Wooten, Rhett Wooten, Timmy Babb, Willow Babb, Reese Harper, Rose Harper, Levi Harper, Sam Harper and Hazel Harper.  Along with her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a son-in-law, George Roland, Jr., a brother, Edward Slaten, and her four-legged fur baby lab, Sophie.

A Graveside Service will be held 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale, Spartanburg, SC, 29307, conducted by The Rev. Manning Strickland.  Visitation will be at the graveside.
