Caroline Dimarco

Caroline Cromer DiMarco, 89, of Spartanburg, died Monday, February 25, 2013, at Eden Terrace-Spartanburg. Born June 16, 1923, in Spartanburg, she was the wife for 46 years, of the late Joseph J. DiMarco Sr. and daughter of the late Arthur Haygood and Elma Clayton Cromer. Mrs. DiMarco retired from Palmetto Supply and Repair Inc. after 30 years of service. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church and attended Winthrop College. She is survived by her daughter, Becky D. Jackson (Don) of Spartanburg, SC; sons, Joseph J. DiMarco Jr. (Liz) of Greer, SC, Dr. Art C. DiMarco, DMD (Karen) of Cour d'Alene, ID, The Rev. Tom DiMarco (Miranda) of Johnston, SC; grandchildren, Laurie Jackson (Larry) of Spartanburg, SC, Stephanie Jackson (Mehrdad) of New York, NY, Julie DiMarco of Greer, SC, Maria DiMarco of Los Angeles, CA, Grace DiMarco of Johnston, SC, and Edgar DiMarco (Rosa) of Mt. Pleasant, SC; and great-grandson, Eric Bagley of Spartanburg, SC. In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by a grandson, Ryan DiMarco. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, February 27, 2013, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, February 28, 2013, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, by the Rev. Tom DiMarco. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Central United Methodist Church, 233 North Church Street, Spartanburg, SC 29306. The family is at their respective homes.
