Carol Stokes

Mary Carolyn Brown Stokes, 64, of Spartanburg, SC, died Friday, November 15, 2013, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born March 14, 1949, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Ethel Thomas Brown. She was retired from the Spartanburg County Assessor's Office. Surviving are her children, Robin Gregory of Spartanburg, SC, Mark Stokes of Texas, and Lori Phillips of Aiken, SC; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and sisters, Emily Bazen of Laurens, SC, and Nancy Norwood of Gaffney, SC.
