Carol Painter

Carole Painter, 70, of 375 Serpentine Drive, died Friday, July 3, 2009, at Magnolia Manor. Born March 1, 1939, in Hendersonville, NC, she was the daughter of the late Charles Hugh and Muriel Dill Jackson. She was a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill and Gardner-Webb College. She retired from Mary Black Memorial Hospital and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include a daughter, Cheryl Osolinski of Lyman; a son, Raymond Painter of Tuxedo, NC; six brothers, Barron Jackson, David Jackson, Doyle Jackson, Kevin Jackson, Neal Jackson, and Roger Jackson; three sisters, Beverly Wilder, Joyce Belcher, and Novella Garrison. She was predeceased by a brother, Ronald Jackson; and a sister, Diane Jackson. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
