Carol Ann Duckett Oberts, 69, of Wellford, formerly of St. Louis, MO, died Monday, January 18, 2010, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born December 4, 1940, in St. Louis, MO, she was the daughter of the late Aubrey B. and Norma H. Seep Duckett and the wife of the late Jack Thomas Oberts. She was of the Presbyterian faith. Survivors include two daughters, Connie Oberts Wofford and husband Jerry of Lyman, and Lynn Oberts Chambers and husband Chuck of Roebuck; a son, Jack Thomas Oberts, II of the home; three sisters, Sherry Duckett and Cliff Estes of O'Fallon, MO, Benita Grana of St. Charles, MO, and Diane Luciani and husband Richie of Clearwater, FL; a brother, Norman Duckett and wife Pam of Festus, MO; two granddaughters, Kristie Brown and husband Ben, and Brandi Davis and husband Stephen; a grandson, Nicholas Wofford; and three great-grandchildren, Ethan and Payton Brown, and Noah Davis. She was predeceased by a sister, Melody Brooks; and a brother, David Duckett. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 21, 2010, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 22, 2010, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens conducted by the Rev. Robert H. Brozina. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
