Carl Harris

Carl Jack Harris, 84, of Pacolet, SC, died Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at his home. Born May 26, 1933, in Yancy County, NC, he was the son of the late Solomon and Minnie Franklin Harris and husband of the late Mary Brown Harris. A United States Army Veteran, Mr. Harris served during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the VFW Post #641. Survivors include his daughters, Teresa Schultz of Temple, TX and Debra Sue Chandler of Belton, TX; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and sister, Juanita Fowler of Pacolet, SC. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by sister, Eloise Blanchard and brother, Cloyd Harris. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, August 3, 2017, at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel, 141 Memorial Drive, Pacolet, SC 29372. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Friday, August 4, 2017 in Woodridge Memorial Park, 138 Corley Mill Rd., Lexington, SC 29072.
