Carl "Bud" Walter Gossett, 84, of Spartanburg, SC, died Tuesday, March 1, 2016, at his home. Born February 3, 1932, in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late Carl Dennis and Lillie Stepp Gossett. A U. S. Army veteran of the Korea war, Mr. Gossett was a member of the Disabled American Veterans. He was the owner/operator of Bud's Place and attended Beaumont Baptist Church. Surviving are his good friend and caregiver, Amanda Barnett and her family; two nieces, Joann Leong and Janice Gosnell; several cousins; and close friends, Steve White and Jerry Prince. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by sisters, Pauline Jones and Louise Gossett. Visitation will be 6:00-7:30 PM Friday, March 4, 2016, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. A graveside service, with military honors, will be conducted at 1:00 PM Saturday, March 5, 2016, in Sunset Memorial Park, 1955 Cannons Campground Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by the Rev.
