Camella Rubel "Cammy" Smith, 53, of Spartanburg, SC, died Tuesday, February 11, 2014, at St. Francis Hospital-Greenville. Born August 19, 1960, in Madrid, Spain, she was the daughter of Patricia Anne DeWalt Rubel of Spartanburg, SC, and the late Dr. Harold Richard Rubel. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and the Spartanburg Magnolia Club. In addition to her mother, she is survived by three brothers, Richard A. Rubel (Julie) and David S. Rubel, all of Spartanburg, and Christopher Rubel of Greenville, SC; nieces and nephews, Kathryn Rubel, James Rubel, Elizabeth Rubel, Reagan Rubel, and Ford Rubel; aunt, Jane Mills of Minerva, OH; and close family friend, Leslie Dyer. Visitation will be 2:00-2:45 PM Friday, February 14, 2014, at St. John's Lutheran Church Parlor. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM, at the church, conducted by The Rev. Michael Shackelford and The Rev. Emily Edenfield. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Pallbearers are Richard A. Rubel, David S.
