Bryan C. Seay

Bryan Seay, a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished grandfather, passed away on August 9, 2024 in Spartanburg, South Carolina. He was the son of the late Bryan Seay Sr. and Annie Hall Seay.

Bryan's legacy lives on through his devoted wife of 76 years, Eulalia Seay, his daughters Martha Seay, Katie Rice (David) and Jane Myers, as well as his 5 grandchildren: Charlie, Charlotte Anne (Joey), Bryan (Alyssa), Alex and Katie and 5 great-grandchildren: Blakely, Joseph, Thomas, Lucy and Pearson. In addition to his parents, Bryan was predeceased by twin grandsons, 2 sons-in-law, 8 brothers and 2 sisters. 

Bryan was a member of Morningside Baptist Church and a former member of Calvary Baptist Church on North Church Street. He dedicated over 50 years of his life to Community Cash Grocery Stores, where he served as director of merchandising and head buyer. He also served on the board of directors. Bryan was also a former president of the Spartanburg Optimist Club and a former board member of Total Ministries Spartanburg.

Funeral services will be held at Morningside Baptist Church, 897 S. Pine Street in Spartanburg on August 14, 2024. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by the funeral at 11:00 AM. The burial will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd, Spartanburg at 12:00 PM.

The family wishes to express their appreciation to the employees of Comfort Keepers of Spartanburg, Restoration Senior Living Center and Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System.
