Bruce Smith

William Bruce Smith Jr., 65, of Inman, SC, died Sunday, May 20, 2018, at his home. Born February 8, 1953, in Port Arthur, TX, he was the son of the late William Bruce Smith Sr. and Clara Margery Crews Smith. A U. S. Marine veteran, Bruce was a member of American Legion Post #490, South Houston, TX. He retired from U. S. Xpress, Chattanooga, TN. Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Agatha "Kitty" Beheler Smith; brother, John Smith of Dripping Springs, TX; daughters, Melissa Carter and Evelyn Wilson; step-son, Allen McJunkin; and nephews, Michael Mitchell and Tommy Mitchell, both of Austin, TX, and John Smith Jr. of Portland, OR.
