Brenda Willis

Brenda Gail Willis, 69, of Spartanburg, SC, died Thursday, December 10, 2015, at her home. Born January 18, 1946, in Greenville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Johnny Mack and Gloria Miller Queen Greene. Mrs. Willis was a member of Peach Valley Baptist Church. She retired from K-Mart Corporation after 30 years of service and was also employed with Chartwells for 10 years. Survivors include her husband of 27 years, Everette L. Willis of the home; sons, Wayne Willis (Jennifer) of Roebuck, SC and Phillip Willis of Laurens, SC; grandchildren, Ashley Spicer (Eric) of Greer, SC, Andrew Willis and Katherine Willis, both of Roebuck, SC, Chase Willis of Laurens, SC, and Lillie Marie Willis of Roebuck, SC; great-grandson, Abraham Spicer of Greer, SC; brother, Henry Ross Greene of Greenville, SC; and lifelong friend, Flora Jean Johnson. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Eddie Queen; and sister, Judy Greene. Visitation will be 10:00-10:45 AM Saturday, December 12, 2015, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Ron Gaddy and the Rev. Michael Boyter. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, 1955 Cannons Campground Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
