Brenda Sprouse

Brenda Mary Hicks Sprouse, 67, of Cowpens, died Sunday, February 7, 2010, at Spartanburg Hospital for Restorative Care. Born May 1, 1942, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Wilburn and Vola Powell Hicks. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include a daughter, Cathy Skates and husband Bennie of Cowpens; a son, Paul Stephens and wife Susie of Glendale; a sister, Rachel Hicks of Clifton; and two brothers, Carlton Hicks of Marietta, GA, and Bobby Hicks of North Carolina. Visitation will be 11:00-12:45 p.m. Wednesday, February 10, 2010, at Living Water Community Church. Funeral services follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Church conducted by Pastor Frank Bryant. Memorials may be made to Living Water Community Church, 9150 Asheville Highway, Boiling Springs, SC 29316. The family is at the home, 102 Seagle Road, Cowpens, SC 29330.
