Brenda Payne

Brenda Brewington Payne, 75, of Inman, SC died Friday, October 21, 2022, at the home of her daughter. Born September 22, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Herbert Smith Brewington and Agnes Lavenia Young Brewington and the wife of the late Edgar Horace “Buddy” Payne, Jr.

Brenda was a family person, simple and down to earth; enjoyed walking on the beach with her husband, and spending time with her fur babies. She worked with Smith Distribution Center for over 31 years.

Survivors include her daughter, Angela Payne (fiancé Jeffrey Stone) of Inman, SC, and her fur babies, Bella, Toby, and Sadie.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00PM, Thursday, October 27, 2022, at Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main Street, Spartanburg, SC, 29307.  A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Friday, October 28, 2022, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by Chaplain Loc Nguyen.
