Brenda Hutchins

Brenda Loflin Hutchins, 68, of Moore, died Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at Mary Black Memorial Hospital. Born October 28, 1943, in Fort Worth, TX, she was the daughter of Ellen Young Loflin of Arlington, TX, and the late Willard Loflin. She was a member of Central Church of Christ. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 48 years, James E. Hutchins; daughters, Carol Whitworth and husband Kent of Spartanburg, SC, and Karen Owen and husband Robert of Guyton, GA; and grandchildren, Nicholas Whitworth, Zachary Whitworth, Emily Hope Whitworth, James Cordell Owen, and Olivia Kate Owen. She was predeceased by a brother, Wayne Loflin. A memorial service celebrating her life will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 28, 2012, at Central Church of Christ in Spartanburg, by Mr. Ernie D. Thigpen. Visitation will follow at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials will be made to Southeastern Children's Home, 151 Children's Way, Duncan, SC 29334. The family is at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Kent Whitworth.
